Cerise

The main character in the short story The Inheritance. She got a wizardwood pendant and a silver ring without a stone for her inheritance when her grandmother Aubretia, with whom she had lived and loved, died. Cerise had taken care of her, but her older cousins Tetlia and Coreth take the more valuable necklaces of jasper and garnets. Her grandmother had been a daughter of an Old Trader family of Lantis.

Cerise leaves for Bingtown to regain the Lantis family inheritance with the help of the pendant.
