Gardner Dozois

Gardner Raymond Dozois (1947 – 2018) was an American author and editor of science fiction.

Gardner Dozois was the founding editor of The Year's Best Science Fiction anthologies and edited Asimov's Science Fiction magazine. Among many other publications, he edited a number of anthologies together with G.R.R. Martin which featured stories by both Robin Hobb and Megan Lindholm. These included Warriors, Songs of Love and Death and Dangerous Women. He also edited The Book of Swords and The Book of Magic.
