Farseer comics

22 Jun, 2007 filed under: Robin Hobb, France

SerpentBlanc sent this in while the site was down for maintenance:

Robin Hobb’s Farseer trilogy is going to be made into a graphic adaptation by a French publisher Les Editions Soleil who specialises in fantasy. Jean-Charles Gaudin and Laurent Sieurac will work on this project which should be available in early 2008. There are expected to be 8 or 9 volumes. No word of an English edition yet.

Discussion at the Rivages Maudits forum (in French, of course).

Update: there is also a small preview available now.

And I’m happy to add that Laurent Sieurac has paid us a little visit on Rivages Maudits.

As a result, you can now see a sketch of the upcoming adaptation on the board (juste follow the link Mervi gave until page 2). :)

Looks very good in my opinion, the scene is almost exactly like I’ve imagined. :) Thanks SB (and I’ve saved the file to this server to save bandwidth, I hope that’s ok. :))
