US book tour dates for Dragon Haven

Robin Hobb’s US publisher HarperCollins posted tour dates and places for her promotional tour of Dragon Haven in the US next year. Please note that as these dates haven’t yet been confirmed by Robin herself (and most of the bookstores mentioned do not yet list their events for next year) all the details are still tentative.

Dragon Keeper video interview

This video is from September but somehow it had eluded me until now. Robin talks about the Dragon Keeper and making the book trailer. No spoilers! Dragon Keeper is already available in the UK (hardcover), (audio book) and will be published in the US January 26th 2010 (hardcover).

Farseers and Liveships finally as audio books

Starting in February 2010 Tantor is going to release the whole Farseer and Liveship traders trilogies as audiobooks. They will also re-publish the Dragon Keeper as an audio book (a UK version already exists). The narrator for the Farseers is Paul Boehmer and Anne Flosnik will do the Dragon Keeper.

Third part of French graphic novel now available

L’Assassin Royal: Kettricken, which is part 3 of the ongoing French graphic novel adaptation of the Farseer trilogy, is now available. Visit the publisher’s page for more details and take a look at the and 7 page sample (.pdf file) The illustrator has changed and is now Christophe Picaud. More details about this series is at the PlentyWiki.

Somewhat related: I reported earlier that the French translation of the Soldier Son trilogy is now complete after 7 parts but Lucide told me that there’s still one more book to come. I wonder if the French get extra chapters… ;)
