'''Esclepius''' is the name of the Satrap who originally drew up the [[Bingtown Charter]], giving the lands of the [[Cursed Shores]] to the [[Bingtown Traders]] and the [[Rain Wild Traders]]. Esclepius is also the name of the Satrap who had [[Serilla]] as a [[Companion of the Heart]] and whose son is [[Cosgo]].
An ancestor of [[Cosgo]], Esclepius granted lands to outcasts and outlaws in the Cursed Shores in the form of the Bingtown Charter. These people settled in [[Bingtown]] eventually, while some of the people stayed along the [[Rain Wild River]], becoming the Rain Wild Traders. This original charter is the agreement Bingtown Traders live by and contest with Satrap Cosgo during the events of the [[Liveship Traders trilogy]].
