A feral white [[sea serpent ]] who was the first serpent that [[She Who Remembers]] encountered and gave memories to. He refused to give his true name to anyone, but followed around the edges of [[Maulkin|Maulkin's]] tangle, mocking their efforts at finding the way to the cocooning grounds. The rest of the tangle considered him aggressive and mad: he called himself Carrion and everyone else Corpse.
