Haff
,added details and his death
A charismatic and likeable man who challenged [[Althea Vestrit|Althea's]] right to be second mate. He is a very competent sailor but had disdain for Althea's commands.
When a [[serpent]] attacks Paragon, Haff tries to prove he isn't afraid and ignores Althea's warning not to attack it. His attack angers the serpent and he is engulfed by a fog of poison from the serpent.
After the attack, Haff fits into the crew quite well, trusting orders and even becoming second mate when Althea becomes first mate because of [[Lavoy]] abandoning ship in [[Divvytown]].
Haff is on the small boat heading to Vivacia to negotiate with [[Kennit]] for the [[liveship]]s release. During their trip, Kennit, with the help of [[Bolt, dragon|Bolt]], sends the serpents to destroy Paragon and the boat capsizes. Haff is not saved and not seen from again.
