Hunting cat is a cat bred and used for killing prey, especially rabbits and birds.
In Buck, hunting cats are not very common, but some people do keep them. The terrain is more suited to hound-hounting and the cats can not bring down the larger pray that the mounted hunters prefer. Hunting cats are mostly seen to be only fit as the hunting-companions of ladies. The cat rides to the hunt on a special cushion behind its master's saddle.
There are three types or breeds of hunting cats: ealynex, gruepard and mistcat.
