A wooden circlet that Amber finds among Igrot's hidden trove in the tree-tops in the Rain Wilds. The Fool and Fitz had both seen it in a vision they shared in the plaza beyound the Mountain Kingdom where it was painted and had feathers in it.


Fitz later finds the missing feathers that fit into it on the Treasure Beach. The Fool uses it as a bargaining piece with Girl-on-a-Dragon to fly him to Aslevjal.

It is smashed when the Fool is tortured and killed. Fitz re-assembles the crown with the Fool's blood and this aids him in his resurrection of the Fool.

The crown is made of wizardwood and contains the lives of 5 famous bards and poets.
