A person who teaches the Skill in the Farseer court. The names of the Skillmasters are usually mentioned accompanied by the King's name under who's reign they worked. Traditionally it was the Skillmaster's job to regularly seek out youngster that showed potential for the Skill and instruct them before they formed Skill-coteries to serve their King.
