A sergeant in [[Buckkeep]], grandfather.
Blade was one of the guarsmen who friended [[Fitz]] in his youth; he is still in service when Fitz returns as [[Tom Badgerlock]] but doesn't recognize him altough they speak face to face. His back has stiffened with age.
