[[Butran]] Clan, The. A clan from [[Chalced]] clan, owners of slaves. An [[earring]], given to [[Fitz]] by [[Burrich]], was identified by a trader in [[Landing]] as a Freeman's Earring, given to a freed slave by the Clan. This was considered a rarity as it was well known that the Butran Clan granted freedom to a slave but rarely. There is also a Butran Clan [[slave tattoo]].
