New audio books and other bits of news

2 Aug, 2009 filed under: Robin Hobb, England/UK, US, France

HarperCollins had a page set up for Dragon Haven (here) that contained a brief synopsis and a publication date—March 4th 2010. This is about 2 months earlier than the previous estimates of April/May. However, the page has since been taken down so this is still tentative information. //edited to add: Robin has confirmed the move to March and the page seems to be back online.

Forest Mage audio book narrated by John Keating became available in June. This is an unabridged version done by Recorded Books. You can listen to a sample and order it through audible.com as well.

The Dragon Keeper audio book (unabridged as well) is now also available through amazon.co.uk for only £10.49.

Here’s an interview done in 2008 when Robin last visited Utopiales. It’s now available in English. No spoilers, only very interesting discussion about writing and the fantasy genre. Thanks to Ciboule for reminding me about it! ;)

Speaking of the French—it appears that the next part of the graphic novel adaptation will be out in December (no title yet?) and the series has a new illustrator, Christophe Picaud.

Got any news I missed?
