Harpy's Flight is the first book in the Windsingers' Quartet. First published in 1983, it was the first published novel of Megan Lindholm. She had previously published two short stories, Bones for Dulath in (AMAZONS!, 1979) and The Small One (in Fantastic Stories Vol 27, 1980), set in the same world. Chronologically Harpy's Flight is the first story of the adventures of Ki and Vandien.

  • First published in the US as a paperback in February 1983 by Ace with the ISBN 0441317464. (ARC in December 1982?)
  • An omnibus edition titled "The Windsingers" containing Harpy's Flight, The Windsingers and the Limbreth Gate by Corgi. A trade paperback in 1985 with ISBN 0552991821.
  • An omnibus hardcover published by BCA in 2002, containing Harpy's Flight and The Windsingers. Cover with John Howe's illustration on a blue background.
  • A Kindle edition by Voyager 1st of September 2011 with ASIN B005JE1KJC
  • Included in a Kindle bundle with all the four novels from Harper the 5th of December 2013 with ASIN B00FD98B1I.
