Bingtown Council

The Bingtown Council (or Traders' Council) is a leadership and governing body that seems to give judgments and make decisions for the Old Traders. There is a Council head that directs the meetings and announces the topics. They wear white robes to indicate that they surrender their family alliances for now, and to symbolize that they are only there for the greater good of Bingtown. In difficult cases, the Council will retire to a back room and discuss the issue to come to a collective decision.

These meetings can be called and other Traders (and families) can come to discuss and to hear disputes and proclamations. The families and the Traders will wear their trader robe as a formality. Only the designated Trader for the family may speak their grievances at the meetings, unless you have written and witnessed permission from the Trader of the family to speak in their name.
