There are at least three characters named Merry in the Six Duchies:

• Merry: participated in Galen's Skill-lessons but dropped them, had previously assisted Mistress Hasty in weawing.

• Merry: sister of Shrewd, mother of August.

• Merry: a tavern lad who had the Skill. King Shield found him and brought him to Buckkeep and Skillmistress Solem formed a coterie around him.
