Setre Ludluck was the wife of Uto. She was present when the Paragon, her family's liveship, floated back into Bingtown harbor. With the death of her husband and her son, Kerr, in the same tragedy, she never returned to Paragon.

After she died, the ownership of Paragon transferred to the family creditors until Ludluck cousins, Cable and Sedge, claimed him.
